NO MAS MUERTES is a short film about a March on the Arizona and Mexico Border on March 30, 2004. It was organized by a group of Mexican Youth Activists from Nogales, Mexico. They are part of a larger movement in Tucson, Arizona and Nogales, Mexico called No More Deaths. They are activists that are protesting the number of migrants who die senselessly in the desert while trying to cross the border in search of a better life in the U.S. The No More Deaths Movement believes that current Border Policy is ineffective and needs to be reexamined and applied in a way that is fair and just. They defy the militarization of the Border and join together in acts of solidarity to further the awareness of the American Public's perception of the current crisis taking place in the Borderlands.
